no smoking please!
Today being the World No Tobacco Day, I tried to convince my smoker friends to get rid of this habit. Smoking causes a lot of serious health concerns and to list all of them is going to take another blog. It not only affects the smoker but also those that are near him. The world would have been much better had humans not discovered tobacco.

The NBA is my favorite sports program on the TV. I am a very big Lakers fan. They are on the verge of making it to their 30th NBA final playoffs. They will meet either Orlando Magic or the Cleveland Cavaliers. No matter who they play, the LA Lakers are going to be the champions this time. Mark my words.

adios!
Today was my last workout in my old gym. I did not realize that it was going to be the last. I worked out just as usual without enjoying the session. After I was done, I felt relieved. I have not yet found my new gym but I won’t be coming back here. So goodbye old GYM!

My energy is on an all time high. I have made a profit in my job which means I will get a promotion. My boss praised me lavishly in the board meeting today and I felt so happy. My hard work was the reason I have achieved this. This only motivates me to get better and better. I will!

happy days will be back
My best buddy is relocating to my city in a few days. He had called me up last evening and told me this news. I am very happy that he is coming because he is one of my best mates and I missed him a lot. He will be joining me on most of my endeavors if they are connected with sport or training. We also indulge in a lot of other things like partying and roaming around. I am glad he is back.

the hunter
Gym hunting is what I have been doing of late. The one I am working out currently does not suit my needs. It is becoming more of a headache for me. I am not able to concentrate on my workouts and this is really bothering me now I hope to find a good gym soon enough so that I can enjoy what I am doing.

cheating is good
I have a cheat diet and a cheat day that is an essential part of my workouts. On this day, I normally go on an eating spree without caring about anything else. This is a small reward that I give myself once in a fortnight or something like that for all the hard work that I have done. It is really important that you do this so that your training doesn’t become a pain.

gaming freak
I love to play games on a console. It relives me from a lot of stress that I accumulate due to the nature of my job. I spend quite a lot on gaming DVD’s and other kinds of accessories that are needed to play the games. I feel great after a session of gaming. It is really a very good method of unwinding.

shifting focus
I have planned to intensify my workouts. I will be doing more weights from June onwards. This is because all my friends who accompanied me to play basketball have disappeared and now I have no one else left. Even my partner in crime for weights is going on a tour which means I am all alone. So I will now focus on weight training more than before.

carbs are essential
A lot of people who are into weight loss and those that are building muscles have a tendency to reduce the intake of carbohydrates in their diet which is very wrong. You must take complete carbohydrates in place of simple carbohydrates because carbs are essential to build muscles. They must not be avoided. So take them and enjoy their benefits.

where are you?
The crowd that was there with me a couple of months back is thinning out gradually. A couple of my friends have gone abroad. One to Australia to pursue higher studies and the other to Dubai because of his job and they wont be returning anytime soon. A couple of others that used to come with these guys also aren’t coming these days. I don’t know for how much longer these people are going to last. I can only wish that the situation doesn’t get worse.

badminton? nah!
I am not a huge fan of racquet sports or for that matter anything that involves a lot of hand eye coordination. I was introduced to this by my friend. I tried it as a change to my basketball routine. I found it to be interesting but if I tell you that I have fallen in love with it, then I am lying. I will never love certain things in my life and this is one of them.
