Linda Jo Staab of Blue Ridge Traders

Linda Jo Staab, originally of West Virginia, is a jewelry artist who began crafting at ten years of age. She's been perfecting her artistry ever since.

Linda's jewelry is quite eclectic and encompasses many various styles of jewelry making. She creates some of the most amazing bead necklaces by employing a method of off-loom bead weaving known as the peyote stitch, a popular Native American art. The pieces she creates using this technique often represent animals in nature, but also encompass fantastical creatures such as faeries and dragons. Much of her work also utilizes fine stones, fossils, and even animal teeth.

Linda Jo prides herself not only on her own unique designs, but on her custom work as well. She's happy to take orders to recustomize your favorite, older pieces of jewelry. Whether it's from the 50s, 60s, or even the 70s, she's happy to rework the style of your prized possession into something more modern.

In addition to her jewelry, Linda Jo also creates and sells barn wood, wildlife paintings and leather items. Custom wildlife paintings are also available if a photograph is provided.

You'll find Linda Jo on the Roanoke Farmer's Market Fridays and Saturdays year round as long as it isn't raining or snowing, though sometimes she can be found even then.
