Rebecca D. Dillon of Rebecca's Soap Delicatessen

Rebecca, a thirty-something housewife and mother of one, boasts a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Roanoke College and confesses to a particular fondess for photography. She also greatly enjoys soap making and reading, and you'll never find her without a ten foot "to be read pile" on hand, or a stockpile of soap taking over her home. Currently, Rebecca owns and operates the following websites: Rebecca's Soap Delicatessen, On the Market Blog, and Roanoke Farmer's Market.

You'll find a wide array of yummy scented soaps in both Rebecca's online shop and downtown at the local Farmer's Market. Many of her handmade soaps smell like delicious favorites from the kitchen, but you'll also find a nice selection of florals and other nose pleasing teasers like Sun Dried Linen and Bay Rum. All of Rebecca's soaps are rich in moisturizing oils and butters for happier, healthier skin. They are best known for a great clean, without drying out the skin, though she also offers specialty soaps for extra dry skin. You're sure to love both the scent that lasts from start to finish as well as the thick, creamy lather that's suitable for shaving. You will find Rebecca on the market year round several days a week. A list of the current week's dates she's available on the market can be found at Rebecca's Soap Delicatessen.
