A man of many talents, McCabe was a farmer, a case manager for an AIDS project, a dancer, and even a priest before he began throwing pots. Currently, McCabe owns Wildfire Pottery for which he creates functional, stoneware pottery. He enjoys throwing and then altering his pots for a more personalized touch. McCabe and his wife have a studio gallery at the Jacksonville Art Center in Floyd, VA located at 220 Parkway Lane South. You can also find McCabe Saturdays on the Roanoke Farmer's Market from late spring through fall. To contact McCabe about his work, you can email him at mccabecoolidge@swva.net.
