Creations Gift Shop

Francine Barish-Stern, owner of Creations Gift Shop, is an award winning photographer, writer and publisher. Her work Falls at the Bridge has previously been juried into the Art Museum of Western Virginia Roanoke City Art show. Her Soutern Calm took 3rd. Prize in the Bath County Art Show. In order to remain unique as a photographer her work is created exclusively as Art on Gold. In addition her Portraits on Gold can create a personalized masterpiece from any picture for art, jewlery, bags, and even T-Shirts. Francine is also a professional writer and publisher. She has published over 15 books and written and/or edited more than fifty other books.

Creations opened in the City Market Building in October of 2006. Originally this gift shop sold art and souvenirs, including magnets, book marks and greeting cards, but in the ensuing months customers wants led to the expansion into fotojewlery, custom photobags, T shirts and due to popular demand Creations has now added a line of unique Custom Dog Tags. Also to meet the demands of customers Creations is now a Virginia Tech licensee and also now features a collection of Train pictures from the Virginia Museum of Transportation. Everything in Creations is hand made here in Virginia by the owners of Creations.
