The Gift Niche

The Gift Niche, which celebrates its 25th year of business in December 2007, is a quaint little gift shop that carries home decor and garden accessories, flags, cards, jewelry, specialty gifts, custom florals, seasonal decorations, Willow Tree, Jim Shore, Boyd's Bears, and many Roanoke themed items perfect for souvenirs. They also offer custom designed afghans, t-shirts, and tennis tumblers. The store is also known as "The Flamingo Connection in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia."

Owned by Laura Duckworth, Vickie Mullins, Marie Lovell, and Victoria Taylor, The Gift Niche boasts a very special crew of workers, helpers, and cheerleaders who include Mamaw (Mary Mullins - pictured above), Florence Covey, Connie Kirby, Teresa Kennedy, Martha Baswell, Stacy Duckworth, Claude Lynch, Ed Taylor, and Jessie Falls.
