Lä Dê Dä is a quaint, little clothing boutique located on Roanoke's historic City Market. While it's official address is 102 East Church Street, the store's well dressed, window fronts can also be found running down Market Street filled with the some of the greatest, seasonal wardrobe suggestions. Lä Dê Dä, which is owned by Carole Hughs, attempts to squeeze in the best of women's fashion, clothing, shoes, jewelry, and accessories as it possibly can - and all under one roof, no less. Together, Carole and her friendly staff sell linen, cotton, tencel, and other natural fiber garments that are full of rich colors and textures. In addition, they offer some of the most comfortable shoes on the planet, fabulous scarves, wonderous handbags, and even warm, inviting lamps. Lä Dê Dä sells what they refer to as "fantastical frocks for women young and young at heart."
